Johannesburg-based ExecuJet MRO Services has successfully completed a series of ADS-B upgrades across multiple business jet models to comply with South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) requirements. These upgrades enhance real-time tracking and overall safety in South African airspace, reinforcing ExecuJet’s position as a leading provider of jet avionics solutions.
Comprehensive Avionics Installation Services
The SACAA directive mandates that all aircraft operating in South African airspace be ADS-B Out compliant, equipped with ADS-B/Mode S 1090 MHz Extended Squitter transponders. This regulation improves airspace management, operational efficiency, and flight safety.
ExecuJet’s skilled avionics team at Lanseria International Airport performed aviation equipment installation and modifications on several Bombardier, Learjet, Embraer, Hawker, and Beechcraft aircraft, including two Learjet 45s and a Hawker 800XP. Additional ADS-B upgrades are scheduled to be completed before the end of the year.

ExecuJet’s Lanseria facility is certified to perform ADS-B upgrades on a broad range of business jets following OEM service bulletins and approved supplemental type certificates.
