TECNO AFCON 2025 Fan Experience: Pop-Up Stores and Interactive Zones in Morocco

CASABLANCA, Morocco – Following the kickoff of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 (AFCON 2025), TECNO is bringing fans closer to the action through a series of AI-powered pop-up stores and interactive fan zones in Rabat and Casablanca. The initiative allows visitors to experience firsthand how TECNO AI enhances photography, gaming, productivity, and entertainment on smartphones.

Dual-City Activation for Maximum Fan Engagement

TECNO activated four venues in total: two pop-up stores and two fan zones, with one of each located in Rabat and Casablanca. This dual-city approach ensures sustained engagement, offering repeated opportunities to explore major cities in Morocco throughout the tournament.

Special performances, including juggling ball demonstrations and African song and dance, were held on December 21 and are scheduled to return on January 18, blending technology, culture, and entertainment into one vibrant fan experience.

Pop-Up Stores: Immersive Technology in Action

The TECNO AI pop-up stores near Mohammed V Stadium (Casablanca) and Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium (Rabat) are designed as experiential environments rather than traditional retail spaces.

  • AI Experience Area: Visitors test TECNO AI features hands-on, exploring photography and content creation.

  • Product Experience Area: Guests access the latest TECNO smartphones, with a customization station for tournament-themed phone stickers—a perfect addition for tech-savvy travelers.

  • Interactive Installations: Fans can engage with football challenges and photo zones, capturing memories to share in Africa news.

Fan Zones: Community and Participation

TECNO fan zones at Anfa Park (Casablanca) and OLM Souissi (Rabat) provide open-access spaces where football supporters can interact with technology. These zones are essential for anyone planning a trip to Africa during the tournament, as they foster a sense of community while highlighting TECNO’s commitment to connecting technology with everyday fan experiences.

TECNO’s “Power Your Moment” Campaign

The AFCON 2025 activation is part of TECNO’s “Power Your Moment” campaign, emphasizing hands-on interaction and cultural immersion. By combining AI technology with African culture and football, TECNO reinforces its presence in Morocco and strengthens fan loyalty.
