South Africa’s Parliament is set to host a critical parliament hearing revealing significant details surrounding the ongoing Mkhwanazi allegations, with Minister Senzo Mchunu’s accusations debate taking center stage once again.

The Ad Hoc Committee investigating serious claims made by KwaZulu-Natal SAPS provincial head, Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, will resume its sessions on Tuesday, 21 October 2025, as it continues to unpack Minister Mchunu’s main submission. This highly anticipated session is expected to shed new light on the internal dynamics of law enforcement and ministerial oversight.

Minister Senzo Mchunu, who has been implicated in a series of allegations by General Mkhwanazi, will once again face questioning by committee members. This forms part of the broader inquiry into the conduct and administration of the South African Police Service in the province.

The hearing will be held in Committee Room M46, Ground Floor, Marks Building, located in the Parliament precinct. Proceedings will start at 9:00 AM.
