Qatar and Zambia Strengthen Bilateral Foreign Relations Through Middle East Cooperation

HE Minister of State for International Cooperation, Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, met on Wednesday with HE Mulambo Haimbe, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Zambia, on the sidelines of the Second World Summit for Social Development in Doha.

Advancing Bilateral Foreign Relations

The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral foreign relations between Qatar and Zambia, emphasizing shared values of partnership, development, and sustainability. Both parties discussed opportunities to expand cooperation across various sectors, including education, investment, and humanitarian support, as part of broader Middle East cooperation initiatives.

Dr. Al Misnad reaffirmed Qatar’s ongoing commitment to deepening diplomatic engagement with African nations, highlighting that foreign relations agreements like these contribute to regional stability and long-term growth.
