Afriex, a leading global fintech platform, has announced a new Afriex Visa partnership to deliver real-time international transfers across more than 160 markets worldwide. By integrating Visa Direct through its financial institution partner, Afriex is making cross-border payment solutions faster, safer, and more accessible for individuals and businesses.

Faster, Seamless Cross-Border Transactions

Afriex CEO Tope Alabi highlighted the importance of the partnership, saying, “For millions of families and businesses relying on remittances, speed and transparency are crucial. Working with Visa allows Afriex to combine our innovation with Visa Direct’s global reach, so money moves in real time — not days.”

Through the Afriex Visa partnership, users can now send and receive funds instantly to eligible Visa accounts, reaching billions of customers worldwide. This marks a major milestone in Afriex’s mission to simplify international payments and boost financial inclusion through efficient cross-border payment solutions.

Boosting Global Remittances Efficiency

The integration of Visa Direct is now fully operational on the Afriex platform and accessible via the Afriex mobile app. According to the World Bank, global remittances to low- and middle-income nations hit $669 billion in 2023. The Afriex–Visa collaboration ensures these vital funds reach families, businesses, and communities instantly — addressing the growing need for secure and reliable real-time international transfers.

Afriex continues to position itself as a fintech leader by delivering innovative solutions that bridge the financial gap between countries while keeping transaction costs low.

About Afriex
