On 28 November 2025, ConstructAfrica (ConstructAfrica Official) held its inaugural Ambassador Town Hall, gathering distinguished leaders from Africa’s construction, infrastructure, finance, legal, education, technology, and policy sectors. This event formally launched the ConstructAfrica Ambassadors Programme, designed by the ConstructAfrica Industry Advisory Board (CIAB), to advance infrastructure leadership training (Business) and foster collaboration across the continent’s built-environment ecosystem.
A Milestone for Africa’s Construction Future
The Town Hall set the foundation for a pan-African network of experts committed to strengthening Africa’s construction sector, a key driver of economic and social development. The Ambassadors Programme aims to mobilise 100 building industry influencers by 2026 to shape a more sustainable, globally competitive, and investable construction industry (Health).
Africa’s construction and infrastructure landscape contributes up to 11% of GDP in major markets, attracts trillions of dollars in investment, and supports job creation, industrialisation, regional integration, and improved quality of life (AFCON).
ConstructAfrica’s Commitment to Excellence
Dr Nelson Ogunshakin OBE, Chair of the CIAB, said,
“The Ambassadors Programme brings together exceptional professionals and visionaries dedicated to advancing Africa’s infrastructure transformation. It will serve as a global think tank and collaborative network, strengthening the flow of insights, innovations, and best practices across the sector” (AMA).
Dr Segun Faniran, Founder and Publisher of ConstructAfrica, added:
“This initiative builds a powerful network of thought leaders committed to raising industry standards, fostering collaboration, and shaping the future of infrastructure development in Africa. The programme reflects our commitment to market intelligence, sustainable growth, and connecting Africa’s construction community” (African Leadership Magazine).
Expanding Africa Construction Management Skills
The programme supports professionals across key sectors, promoting leadership development, strategic dialogue, and knowledge exchange. Ambassadors include leaders in civil engineering, architecture, project management, finance, sustainable construction, and infrastructure policy — all aimed at enhancing Africa construction management courses (ConstructAfrica Town Hall Coverage).
The inaugural Town Hall concluded with gratitude to the cohort of Ambassadors — highly qualified experts whose knowledge and passion reflect ConstructAfrica’s vision of a more connected, resilient, and capable African construction sector.
As a pan-African hub for data, insights, and thought leadership, ConstructAfrica continues to empower investors, developers, policymakers, and practitioners to make informed decisions that drive sustainable infrastructure delivery across Africa (Sport).
